The mill retains its original character - the building rises across three floors and a stream runs through the large garden. The kitchen and living space across the ground floor are well set up for a large group.

The location is deep into the Helford peninsula. Ponsence Cove is 1.3km - a small sheltered beach on the south shore of the estuary. Helford Passage, where the seasonal ferry crosses to Helford village and the Shipwright's Arms, is 2.2km. The coast path connects onward to the Lizard and to Frenchman's Creek to the south. Manaccan village has a pub and a Norman church.

Best for large family reunions or multi-generation groups who want seclusion on the Helford with beach access nearby. Less good for anyone needing high-spec facilities or who finds multi-floor layouts difficult - the three-storey mill design means stairs throughout.
