Cathedral View Cottage

Cathedral View Cottage is a 2-bedroom terraced cottage in central Truro, Cornwall's only city. The property sleeps 4 adults (not suitable for children under 12) and has direct views of the Gothic Revival cathedral, completed in 1910.

Two double bedrooms occupy the upper floor - one with an en-suite walk-in shower, the other served by a separate shower room. Downstairs, the layout includes a kitchen-diner, sitting room, and a conservatory. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a Breville coffee machine. Two TVs and WiFi are provided.

An enclosed garden with patio and furniture sits at the rear - a useful private outdoor space in a city-centre property. There is no private parking, but public car parks are within walking distance. Pendower Beach on the Roseland is the nearest coast at 9.7km, a mile-long stretch of sand on Gerrans Bay with calm water. Carne Beach, also on the Roseland near Veryan, is 10.2km away.

The cottage is 0.1 miles from the nearest pub and 0.4 miles from shops. Truro's Pannier Market, independent shops on Lemon Street, and the Royal Cornwall Museum are all on foot. A seasonal boat service runs from the city down the Truro River to Falmouth. The Hall for Cornwall theatre hosts live performances year-round.
