Cedar Lodge Carbis Bay

Cedar Lodge Carbis Bay is a reversed-level, four-bedroom house for 8 in Carbis Bay. Two bedrooms have super-king beds, and the two twin rooms can each be made up as super-kings on request. Three bathrooms serve the group. The living area has two four-seater sofas, a Smart TV and a soundbar. Both super-king bedrooms are en-suite, and one has bi-fold doors onto the patio terrace.

The elevated design makes the most of sea views from the living space and terrace. The first floor has the living space and one of the two super-king en-suite bedrooms; the other three bedrooms are on the ground floor. Wi-Fi, parking, a barbecue, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted, though the lawn and terrace give the group somewhere to sit outside after the beach.

Carbis Bay beach is 0.7 miles away, Porthminster Beach is 1.2 miles and St Ives Harbour Beach is 1.3 miles, all reachable via the coast path that runs through the village. Carbis Bay's rail halt connects to St Erth in around 12 minutes for onward mainline trains.

St Ives itself is 1.5 miles along the coast path or one stop by rail, with its galleries, harbour restaurants and beaches.

**Best for:** a family or friends wanting sea views and Carbis Bay beach 0.7 miles away. **Less good for:** guests bringing a dog, or anyone needing an indoor fire.
