Easterly Cottage

Easterly Cottage is a one-bedroom listed thatched property in Poughill, a small village roughly a mile north of Bude. It sleeps two, and the building has accessible features throughout - level entry, wide doorways, and a ground-floor bathroom. Dogs are welcome with beds provided.

Northcott Mouth, a quieter stretch of sand on the exposed Atlantic coast, is 1.7 miles. Bude's town centre and surf hire shops are within walking distance from Poughill along country lanes.

Poughill, pronounced "Poffell", sits on the northern edge of Bude with its own 15th-century church, St Olaf's - one of only two in England dedicated to the Norwegian saint. The coast path at Sandymouth is less than a mile west.
