The South West Coast Path passes through the village and connects Porthtowan to Chapel Porth - roughly 2km south along the cliffs - where the Wheal Coates engine house stands on the clifftop above a National Trust beach.

Portreath is 5.1km to the north, with a beach and harbour village. St Agnes is the nearest town with shops and a post office, around 6km away. The property's position in Towan Valley means it sits in a natural bowl, sheltered from the prevailing southwest wind, which makes the garden and hot tub usable even in autumn.

Ideal for groups of 6-8 who want Atlantic surf on the doorstep and the option of a hot tub after a day on the coast path. Suits families who can share 4 bedrooms across 3 bathrooms.
