Harbour Loft

This delightful, cosy 15th-century building, one of the oldest in the port, sits at the heart of the attractive harbour of Port Isaac, famously featured in the TV series Doc Martin. The renovated Harbour Loft is just a few minutes from the water’s edge and offers arguably the best uninterrupted panoramic views of this charming, active harbour and the gorgeous Cornish coastline.

Beneath Harbour Loft is Outlaw's Fish Kitchen, TV chef Nathan Outlaw’s latest restaurant venture, serving a variety of small seafood dishes sourced from the local fishermen’s early morning catch. Guests can briefly unload outside Harbour Loft, with parking available in the village car park at the top. On your doorstep, you’ll find a selection of fish and chips, Cornish pasties, local fishmongers, and traditional cream teas with freshly baked cakes. There’s also a local pub offering a good selection of meals and a grocery store about a quarter of a mile up the village.

For a wider choice of amenities, the market town of Wadebridge is around 9 miles away. Both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne have small stony beaches at low tide, while the glorious sandy beaches along the Camel Estuary including Polzeath, Daymer Bay, and Rock are just a 15-minute drive. The South West Coast Path winds out of the village in both directions, offering spectacular coastal scenery, and there are three golf courses within easy reach.
