Hilbre

Hilbre is a ground-floor apartment in a quiet corner of Trevone, with an outdoor shower by the front and a patio garden at the back. Shop, pub and beach are close, at 0.3 miles, 0.2 miles and 0.4 miles, and the South West Coast Path is within easy reach.

It has two bedrooms, both en-suite. The twin bedroom has an en-suite bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC, and opens directly onto the rear garden. The second is a single room with a walk-in shower, and it takes a second guest with an extra bed on request. There is also a cloakroom with a basin and WC. Confirm ahead whether you need three or four beds.

The living space is open plan, with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, a Smart TV, books and games. The kitchen has two ovens, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a Quooker tap. Ground source heat pumps and underfloor heating warm the flat, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Parking is private and off road for one car. One dog is welcome, so check the pet's inclusion before booking, and the flat is no smoking.

Bookings run on a Thursday changeover in summer, and short breaks in the summer holidays are not accepted. The apartment is in Trevone, and can be booked together with the Hilbre shepherd hut next door, for up to 6 guests altogether. It suits a small family or two couples, and is best for a group of four happy with a twin room and a single room with an extra bed. It is less good for anyone with more than one car.
