Hillhead

Hillhead is a ground-floor apartment for four in Perranporth, around 500 metres from the beach. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other uses zip-and-link beds that can form a super king on request, with both rooms sharing one bathroom. A terrace gives elevated views over the village and towards the coast, and the lounge is set up for watching storms roll in off the Atlantic.

A wood burner, dishwasher and washing machine are included alongside WiFi and parking, and the garden has room for a barbecue. Up to two dogs can stay. There is only one bathroom for four guests, which matters if two couples are sharing.

Perranporth Beach itself is one of Cornwall's longest sandy beaches, backed by dunes, with lifeguards patrolling through summer. Trevellas Cove is 2.2 miles from the apartment and Trevaunance Cove 2.5 miles, both quieter alternatives near St Agnes. The South West Coast Path runs along this stretch of the north coast, connecting the beach walk in either direction.
