Kerslake House

Grounds of 5 acres set Kerslake House apart. The reverse-level house stands in the Crafthole area, in southeast Cornwall, surrounded by woodland and lakes, and the gardens around it contain a variety of plants. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an open fire, and it leads out to a timber deck with outdoor sofas and chairs.

Four bedrooms sleep eight: three doubles, each with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin. A further bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee maker, and the house has a utility, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Heating is gas central heating plus underfloor heating, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included. A stairgate and highchair are available. The balcony has furniture and a barbecue.

Four well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a supplement per dog. Smoking is not allowed. Parking is off-road for up to 8 cars. The nearest shop is 0.7 miles away, the pub 0.8 miles, the beach and lake 0.6 miles, and the river 1.4 miles. Downderry is 3.7 miles from Crafthole, and the nearby village of Antony has gardens, museums and boat trips.

The house suits a group of up to eight, such as three couples and a further pair in the twin room, and families or friends travelling with dogs.
