Lamorna

Lamorna is a wooden-clad, single-storey lodge on a park in the coastal village of Sennen. The open-plan living space has armchairs by an electric fire that imitates a wood-burner, a Smart TV, a dining table and a kitchen with an air fryer and washing machine, plus WiFi. Enclosed decking at the front comes with outdoor furniture.

It sleeps four. The double bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, the twin room suits children or friends, and a separate bathroom has a bath and handheld shower. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included, and Hive-controlled central heating covers the rest.

The park has a shared swimming pool and a children's play area. The pool has no lifeguard and opens only in the peak summer season. Two cars can use the allocated parking. One small, well-behaved dog is welcome but not on furnishings or in the bedrooms, and the lodge is non-smoking. A shop is 0.5 miles away, a pub 0.2 miles and the beach 1.1 miles.

The lodge suits two couples or friends sharing, with an en-suite double and a separate bathroom, and is less good for anyone with more than one dog or a large one, since only one small dog is allowed. Land's End, Porthcurno and Penzance are all within reach.
