Langarth

Langarth is a six-bedroom house for ten in Constantine Bay, arranged over two floors with six bathrooms between them. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double with patio doors to the garden and an en-suite wet room fitted with rails, and a second next door with an en-suite shower room. The other four are upstairs, and those are the ones with sea views, reached by stairs from the hallway or the utility room.

For anyone who cannot manage stairs, that means a bedroom, a wet room with rails and a separate WC all on the entrance level, plus level thresholds out to the garden and patio. The trade-off is the view: the sea views are a first-floor feature only. The six bedrooms mix two doubles, two twin zip-and-link beds that convert to kings on request, one further zip-and-link king and one single.

Living space runs kitchen to dining room to lounge, with a wood burner in each of the last two and bi-folding doors onto the terrace. There is parking on the drive, a barbecue, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, an outside shower for sandy feet, and a gate at the bottom of the garden onto the path to the beach. Wi-Fi and EV charging are not listed among the facilities, and dogs are not accepted.

Constantine Bay Beach and Treyarnon Bay are both a short walk away and Harlyn Bay is 1.1 miles. The beach faces northwest into the Atlantic swell and is backed by dunes, with seasonal lifeguards in summer but no shops or pubs at the bay itself. Padstow, with its harbour and restaurants, is 4 miles, as is Bedruthan Steps.

Langarth is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 11 reviews. **Best for:** a group of ten that includes someone needing a step-free bedroom and wet room, with the beach through a garden gate. **Less good for:** all-adult groups, which need prior agreement with the owner, and anyone who wants a sea view from their own bedroom without using stairs.
