Escallonia

Escallonia is a four-bedroom single-storey cottage in Constantine Bay on the north Cornwall coast, sleeping eight across two doubles and two twins with two bathrooms. Added to the Cornish Traditional portfolio in March 2026, it sits close to the beach and Trevose Golf Club. The property is dog-friendly with private off-road parking.

Inside, the cottage sits on one level with a couple of steps at the entrance. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, there is WiFi throughout, and the living space comfortably fits the full party of eight. Changeover is on Saturdays, with prices from 1,595 GBP per week rising to 3,300 GBP at peak.

Outside there is a substantial private garden in a quiet part of the village. The Constantine Bay Stores carries bakery, local beers, wine, and daily essentials. Trevose Golf and Country Club is a short walk and welcomes non-members. The coast path runs past the property for direct access to the bay's mile-long dune-backed beach, which has lifeguard cover in season.

St Merryn village - home to Rick Stein's Cornish Arms pub - is about a mile away. Padstow is a few minutes' drive for the harbour, restaurants, and the start of the Camel Trail. Best for large families or two couples sharing who want surf, golf, and coast-path walking. Less suited to guests needing fully level access, as the entrance has steps.
