Legacy Cottage

Legacy Cottage is a detached stone cottage for four near Bokiddick, a farming hamlet about 3 miles southwest of Bodmin. It's one of three detached cottages on the site and looks out over the surrounding countryside.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. A second room holds two 2-foot-6-inch twin beds, which can be made up as a king on request. Two bathrooms serve the cottage overall, and both a wood burner and an open fire heat the living space. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and barbecue are included, but there is no washing machine, and dogs are not accepted. Children must be over 8 years old.

An enclosed garden includes a sun room and patio for outdoor meals. The hamlet sits close to an Iron Age hut circle and the granite ridge of Helman Tor, and the Eden Project and Lanhydrock are both within a short drive - about 5 miles south and 3 miles east respectively. Fowey, with its restaurants and estuary walks, is roughly 8 miles away.

Carlyon Bay, a family beach with a gently sloping seabed, is 6.2 miles; Charlestown Beach, the Poldark-filming harbour, is 6.6 miles; and Porthpean Beach, a sheltered sandy cove, is 7.3 miles.
