Lilac Higher Worthyvale Farm

Lilac is a shepherd's hut for two on a working farm near Camelford, a market town on the edge of Bodmin Moor, with Rough Tor and Brown Willy - Cornwall's two highest points - within easy reach. One king-size bedroom and bathroom make up the accommodation, arranged around an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

Outside, a private patio holds a hot tub, a fire pit and a barbecue, with views across open moorland. A garden, parking and a dishwasher are included, and one dog is welcome. There is no Wi-Fi, washing machine or indoor fire at the hut.

The farm sits near Trevalga, a coastal hamlet recorded as a royal manor in the Domesday Book, about 500 metres from the clifftops between Boscastle and Tintagel. The coast path runs along the cliffs here, connecting to Boscastle harbour one way and Tintagel Castle the other. Trebarwith Strand, a surf beach with a summer surf school, is about 3 miles away, and Tintagel's castle ruins are a similar distance.

Bossiney Cove Beach, a secluded sandy cove accessible only at low tide, is 2.7 miles away; Tregardock Beach, reached by a steep path, is 3.9 miles; and Crackington Haven is 6.9 miles.
