Lily House

Lily House is a 4-bedroom house in the centre of Polperro, the car-free fishing village on Cornwall's south coast. It sits within walking distance of the harbour, where around 13 registered fishing boats still operate, and the narrow lanes of shops, galleries, and pubs that wind down from the hill above.

The bedrooms include 2 with king-size beds (1 en-suite), a double, and a twin. A main bathroom has a free-standing bath. The kitchen is equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. The lounge seats 8 and has French doors opening to the outside. WiFi, bed linen, and towels are included.

A walled, gated courtyard garden has an outdoor dining table for 8. Two bedrooms have small balconies. On-site parking for 2 to 3 cars is a significant advantage in Polperro, where street parking is effectively nonexistent in the village centre. Dogs are welcome - up to 2, with a weekly charge of 30 pounds per dog.

Lekerock Cove Beach, a remote rocky cove reached by the coast path, is 1.5km from the house. Talland Bay - a dog-friendly beach with calm water and 2 cafes - is 1.8km. The South West Coast Path section from Polperro to Looe covers about 5 miles through Talland Bay, and Looe's working harbour is roughly 4 miles to the east.
