Melrose is a modern three-bedroom cottage in the centre of Polperro on the south Cornwall coast. It is listed as sleeping two but carries a full three-bedroom layout across two bathrooms - giving unusual spare capacity for a couple travelling with occasional guests or working remotely from the property.

Inside, the cottage has been finished to a contemporary standard while sitting within the fabric of a village house. A log fire warms the main living area, and Wi-Fi, dishwasher and washing machine are included. The two bathrooms ease the morning schedule even when only a couple is in residence. Dogs are welcome.

Outside, the property has an enclosed courtyard - practical outdoor space in a village centre where most cottages have none. EV charging is included, which matters here: Polperro's car-free centre means most drivers leave vehicles at the main car park on the edge of the village and walk down, but EV owners get a reliable overnight charge on site instead of hunting public points.

The harbour, village shops and pubs are a few minutes' walk from the cottage. The South West Coast Path runs through the village, connecting to Talland Bay in one direction and Looe in the other. Prices start at GBP 626 per week, rising to GBP 1,352 at peak.
