Little Trethellan

Little Trethellan is a detached house in the quiet hamlet of Trethellan, close to the village of Lanner. Everything is on one storey. There are two bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed and one with a double, and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. Together they sleep four.

The living space is open plan, with the kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area gathered in one room. Two sofas face the woodburning stove, and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. There is a TV and WiFi, and central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. Smoking is not allowed.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn and a patio with furniture, and the off-road parking takes two cars. Up to three well-behaved pets are welcome. A public footpath directly opposite the property leads to a network of off-road trails, including the Kernow Way cycle route towards Portreath, and Stithians Lake is 1.1 miles away. The nearest pub is 1.1 miles off and the shop is 1.7 miles.

It suits couples and small families, particularly those bringing a dog or two. It is less good for anyone hoping to walk to a shop, given the 1.7-mile distance. Redruth is a short drive away, and Lanner itself has local amenities.
