Lotties Mill Barn

Lotties Mill Barn is a three-bedroom barn conversion for six on the edge of a family-run farm near Whitstone in north-east Cornwall. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, and the third holds a zip-and-link twin that can be made into a super-king bed if requested at the time of booking. Three bathrooms match the three bedrooms, so nobody has to queue.

Countryside views run from the lounge across the surrounding farmland, and the fitted kitchen has a wine fridge alongside a country-style dining table, dishwasher and washing machine. The large enclosed garden has a patio and barbecue, and up to two dogs are welcome. WiFi and parking are included.

Whitstone itself is a quiet farming parish with no pub or shop of its own, so a supermarket trip means driving to Bude or Holsworthy, both about 6 miles away. Widemouth Bay is 5.2 miles from the barn, Millook Beach is 5.3 miles and Summerleaze Beach 7.3 miles, making this a countryside base for driving to the coast rather than a beachfront one.
