Louvain

Louvain is a 5-star, five-bedroom cottage in Cadgwith on the Lizard, spread across three floors with capacity for 10 guests. The property stands 200 metres from Cadgwith's working fishing cove, where traditional gig boats still land their catch daily.

Five bedrooms each have their own bathroom or share a family shower room. The second-floor king has a separate bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. On the ground floor, two doubles and a twin each have en-suite or shared shower rooms - five bathrooms in total. The first-floor living space includes a kitchen-diner with electric range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, Sonos speakers, and WiFi. A study area and laundry room with washing machine and dryer complete the layout. Air source pump heating warms the house. Note: children under 6 are not accepted.

Outside, a large garden has a BBQ and outdoor furniture, plus a hot-water shower. Off-road parking fits 2 to 3 vehicles. The Cadgwith Cove Inn is a 1-minute walk away.

Cadgwith Beach, a shingle cove split into two by a rocky outcrop, is 200 metres downhill. Kynance Cove - turquoise water framed by serpentine rock stacks - sits 3.8 km along the coast. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, connecting walkers to Kennack Sands in one direction and the Lizard Point, mainland Britain's most southerly point, in the other.
