Cadgwith Beach is 2km away - a compact cove in a working fishing village where traditional Cornish luggers are still hauled up on the shingle. Kynance Cove is 5.1km south - one of the most visited spots on the Lizard, known for its serpentine rock formations and clear water at low tide. Mullion Cove is 5.8km, with a National Trust harbour and access to Predannack cliffs.

The location puts you in the quieter, less-trafficked middle of the Lizard rather than on its western tip. Road access is narrow single-track in places, which is worth knowing if you're arriving in a large vehicle. The village of Ruan Minor is 1km and has a church and a pub. Helston is around 14km north for larger shops and the famous Flora Day parade in May.

This property suits groups of 8-10 who want a base for serious walking on the South West Coast Path, which is accessible within minutes of the door.
