In calmer summer weeks the beach is accessible for swimming, though the harbour mouth position means it can pick up more swell than cove beaches further west.

The balcony and terrace are both furnished for outdoor use, giving two separate outdoor spaces to absorb the coastal views across different times of day. A garden on the ground level adds outdoor space beyond the upper-floor furniture. Parking is included. Dogs are not accepted. Porthcew Rinsey Cove lies 2.5 miles along the coast for calmer conditions, and Gunwalloe Church Cove adds a third beach option around 3.5 miles south.

Ideal for couples or small families who want sea views and beach proximity in a South Cornwall town with restaurants within walking distance. Less good for those wanting a secluded rural setting or multiple nights of outdoor entertaining - the terrace and balcony suit watching the harbour rather than hosting groups.
