Lower Trengale Farm

Lower Trengale Farm near Liskeard offers four self-catering cottages set across 6 acres of gardens, woodland, and paddocks, with the capacity to sleep up to 20 guests collectively. The site is run by hosts Gemma and Andy. On-site facilities include an indoor games room with a pool table and table tennis, an outdoor adventure play area with a ship climbing frame, and a firepit for use in the evenings.

Dogs are welcome throughout the site, with parkland and woodland walks starting directly from the property. The farm sits in the gentle valleys between Liskeard and the Looe Valley, a short drive from the market town of Liskeard with its rail connection to Plymouth and Looe.

Plaidy Beach, a secluded sandy cove east of Looe, is 14.4km from the farm. East Looe Beach and its harbourfront is 14.8km, giving access to Looe's fish market, independent shops, and seafood restaurants. The Eden Project is around 10km to the west near St Austell - a practical day trip for groups with children.

Bodmin Moor is under 15 minutes by car, offering open moorland walking and the distinctive granite tors around Minions and Caradon Hill.

Best for large groups and multi-family gatherings who want a farm base with on-site activities and countryside walks. Suits guests with dogs. Less good for those wanting beach access on foot or coastal views - the farm is inland and beaches require a drive of around 20 minutes.
