The Caradon area and the china clay country around St Austell are within 30 minutes' drive for days away from the coast.
Best for larger dog-friendly groups who want a rural retreat within reach of the south coast's less-commercialised beaches. Less good for those expecting a short walk to the sea - the nearest beaches are at least 20 minutes by car.
