Orchard Close At Sanctuary Farm

Orchard Close is a one-bedroom converted piggery at Sanctuary Farm near Woodford in north Cornwall, sleeping 2. The king-size sleigh bed, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams reflect the original agricultural structure, while the interior is fitted out with modern comforts including WiFi, a dishwasher, and free on-site parking.

One of four converted farm buildings on the 70-acre estate, the cottage has its own enclosed terrace with patio seating and views across the river valley and rolling farmland. Dogs are welcome. The farm sits in a shallow valley with woodland walks, and the surrounding lanes stay passable year-round - useful in winter when coastal paths further south can get waterlogged.

Bude, with Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches plus shops and cafes, is around 5 miles north.

The Bude area is well suited to walking holidays - the South West Coast Path reaches the cliffs at several nearby access points, and Bude's Sea Pool on Summerleaze Beach is open for swimming year-round at no charge.
