Orchard House is a three-bedroom semi-detached house on the edge of Wadebridge, carrying a 5-star AA self-catering rating and scoring 9.9 from 22 guest reviews. It sits in an elevated position with views down across the town and the Camel Estuary, and sleeps six in three bedrooms that all have en-suite bathrooms.

The three bedrooms each have 6ft zip and link beds, so each can be made up as a super-king double or as a twin - a useful layout for couples travelling together or mixed groups. There is WiFi throughout, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, and accessible ground-floor living. Complimentary robes, slippers and toiletries are provided in each en-suite.

Outside, the house has a private garden, off-road parking with an EV charge point, and a decked area taking in the estuary view. The owners live next door. Changeover is on Saturdays, with prices from 861 GBP per week rising to 2,263 GBP at peak.

Wadebridge's independent shops, cafes and restaurants are a short walk downhill, along with the Camel Trail cycle route to Padstow and Bodmin. Daymer Bay and Polzeath beaches are about 7 and 7.5 miles away, and Padstow is around 8 miles north-west across the estuary.
