Lodge 22 Cherry

Lodge 22 Cherry is a three-bedroom lodge on the Hustyns estate near St Breock, about 3.5 miles from Wadebridge. The property has a private heated swimming pool, hot tub, and balcony, and sleeps six.

All three bedrooms have TVs. The super-king master bedroom on the upper floor opens onto a balcony and has an en-suite with Jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower, double basin, WC, and bidet. A ground-floor double has its own en-suite walk-in shower, and a ground-floor twin shares the main bathroom with bath and shower over. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with an electric fire. A separate utility room houses the washing machine.

The balcony has outdoor furniture for two. Private off-road parking is included. A highchair and cot are available on request, though cot bedding is not provided. The lodge does not accept pets.

The north Cornwall coast is within a 20-minute drive. Daymer Bay Beach - a sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Camel with calm, shallow water - is 6.9 miles north. Greenaway Beach, a quieter cove between Polzeath and Daymer Bay with rock pools, sits 7.3 miles away. Wadebridge itself is a market town on the River Camel and the starting point for the Camel Trail, an 18-mile traffic-free cycle path to Padstow and Bodmin.

**Best for:** groups celebrating a special occasion who want a private pool and hot tub on site, given the heated pool, hot tub and three en-suite bathrooms for three bedrooms. **Less good for:** guests hoping to walk to the coast, since the nearest beach is close to 7 miles away.
