It sits in an elevated position with views down across the town and the Camel Estuary, and sleeps six in three bedrooms that all have en-suite bathrooms.

The three bedrooms each have 6ft zip and link beds, so each can be made up as a super-king double or as a twin - a useful layout for couples travelling together or mixed groups. WiFi throughout, a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, accessible ground-floor living, and complimentary robes, slippers and toiletries in each en-suite. Dogs are welcome.

Outside, the house has a private garden, off-road parking with an EV charge point, and a decked area taking in the estuary view. The owners live next door. Changeover is on Saturdays, with prices from £861 per week rising to £2,263 at peak.

Wadebridge sits at the start of the Camel Trail - a flat, traffic-free 5.5-mile cycle to Padstow along the estuary. Daymer Bay and Polzeath beaches are about 7 miles away, and Padstow is around 8 miles north-west.

Best for: groups of 2-3 couples wanting a flexible bedroom layout, EV charging, and easy cycle access to the estuary. Less good for: those wanting to walk to the beach - the nearest coast is a 15-minute drive.
