Inside: Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. No open fire or wood burner. The hot tub is the main outdoor feature alongside the garden, which makes this more comfortable for cooler shoulder-season use than a standard garden-only lodge.

Bodinnick sits on the east bank of the Fowey estuary. The car and passenger ferry to Fowey runs a short crossing, giving access to the town's restaurants, independent shops, and the Hall Walk - a 4-mile circular across the headland to Polruan and back by ferry. The walk gives estuary views in both directions.

Suits couples or small families of 4 wanting a hot tub and dog-friendly access to the Fowey area without paying coastal-frontage prices. Works well for off-season stays where a hot tub makes the difference. Less good for groups of 6 or more, or those who need sea views from the property itself.
