Pentire

Pentire is a 2023 new-build house in Trevone, 0.4 miles from the beach, with an inverted floor plan that puts the kitchen and open-plan living space on the upper level to face the sea views over Trevone Bay. Two of the 4 bedrooms have their own balconies and en-suites, directly overlooking the water - that combination of new-build spec and genuine sea views from the bedrooms is relatively rare on this stretch of coast.

The house sleeps 8: 1 king-size zip-and-link on the upper level (can split to twins), 2 doubles and 1 twin on the lower floor, plus a snug with additional sleeping space. Each en-suite bedroom has its own balcony. Outside, a garden and BBQ terrace face the sea, and EV charging is on site. Dishwasher, washing machine, and parking are included. No WiFi.

Trevone Bay is a 5-minute walk, with the natural rock pool at the southern end of the beach accessible at most states of the tide. Harlyn Bay is 1.0 mile west - a north-facing surf beach that works well on bigger swells. Padstow harbour, with Rick Stein's seafood restaurants and the Camel Trail cycling route, is 2 miles east by road.

Good for: groups of 8 wanting sea views and EV charging with young families who can walk to a rock pool. Dogs welcome (up to 3). Less good for: those needing WiFi - there's none at this property.
