Pond Meadow

Pond Meadow is a three-bedroom barn conversion on a working farm near Warbstow in north Cornwall, sleeping six across three bedrooms with one bathroom. The ground floor has a kitchen, dining area, and sitting room with a wood burner, plus a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The double and a second twin are upstairs, and the farm has a games room with table tennis and a darts board. EV charging, BBQ, garden, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a supplement. The cottage has some low beams, so guests over 6ft 2in should take care.

The conversion sits in a rural inland location - quiet, with farm views and a proper garden for sitting out. There is one bathroom for six guests, which is the main limitation to flag. The nearest shop and pub are 3 miles away, and the coast is 5 miles. Saturday changeover.

Crackington Haven is 5.2 miles - a dramatic cove below 130-metre cliffs on the north Cornish coast, with the South West Coast Path running directly above. Millook Beach is 6 miles and Widemouth Bay 7.2 miles, the latter a long flat beach popular with beginner surfers. Bude is roughly 7.5 miles north - a market town with a canal, surf beaches, and shops.

Best for: dog-owning families or groups wanting a working-farm setting with coast access and good indoor evening space. Less good for: larger groups needing more than one bathroom, or those who want to walk straight from the door to the beach.
