Rosevean is a three-bedroom cottage in Marazion, sleeping five across two bathrooms, priced from £492 per night through Luxury Coastal. The first-floor living room has sash windows with a direct view across to St Michael's Mount - the tidal island sits roughly a mile offshore and the causeway is walkable at low tide for part of each day. Original low beamed ceilings and exposed stonework run throughout the ground floor.

Two wood burners make the cottage viable year-round: a multi-fuel stove in the first-floor living room and a second wood burner in the ground-floor dining room. The rear courtyard garden has space for a BBQ table and chairs. Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included, and parking is available. Dogs are welcome, which matters given how accessible the beach is on foot.

Marazion Beach is 400 metres - a 5-minute walk from the door. The South West Coast Path runs west from Marazion into Penzance: about 3 miles of flat, mostly surfaced seafront walking. Perranuthnoe Beach is 1.4 miles east along the coast, smaller and less busy in July and August. Long Rock Beach is 1.5 miles in the other direction. Marazion itself has a handful of cafes, a pub, and small independent shops without the intensity of central Penzance.

Best for couples or small families wanting a base for West Penwith with sea views and direct beach access for dogs. Less good for five guests who need a bathroom each - there are 2 bathrooms for 5 people, which can feel stretched at busy holiday times.
