Located less than 3 miles from Praa Sands, Sampson Barn provides the perfect base for exploring the nearby Cornish countryside and stunning west Cornwall coast.

Praa Sands has an array of facilities to keep you entertained, including the golden sand beach, which stretches for over a mile.  Water sports hire, a cafe, a pub and a restaurant can all also be found down on the beach.  Praa Sands can also boast a super 9-hole golf course which overlooks the sea.

Sampson Barn offers easy access around the west of Cornwall, including Helston, Penzance and St Ives.  Nearby Marazion is home to the famous and much loved St. Michaels Mount, which has to be on your visit list!

The famous Pengersick Castle is just a few minutes’ drive from Sampson Barn, as is the National Trust property Godolphin House and its lovely gardens.

Beautiful St. Germoe’s church is a couple of miles from the property and is well worth a visit, with parts of the church dating back to the 12th century.

The villages and towns of Porthleven, Helston, Marazion, St Michaels Mount and Penzance are all within a 15-minute drive.
