Sintra

Sintra is a five-bedroom cottage for ten in Trevone. Four bedrooms have king-size beds, while the fifth contains two singles and a day bed. That gives eleven bed spaces against a stated capacity of ten, so check with the agency how the fifth room is meant to be used. Five bathrooms match the bedroom count.

Steps lead down into a garden lounge with a vaulted ceiling, oak beams and wood burner. Sea views, a large garden, parking, wetsuit space and a washing machine are included. Up to two dogs are accepted.

Trevone Bay is 600 metres away, Harlyn Bay is 1.1 miles away and Mother's Ivey's Bay is 1.8 miles away.

Trevone sits about 2 miles west of Padstow, and the coast path runs through the village, reaching Padstow harbour in around 45 minutes on foot. The round pool, a natural rock pool cut into the cliff platform at the southern end of the beach, holds enough water for swimming at most states of the tide. The village has a small shop and the Well Parc Hotel, and Harlyn Bay is less than a mile west.

**Best for:** Multi-generational groups wanting five bathrooms, sea views, a garden lounge and Trevone Bay within 600 metres.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free access or a clear ten-person bed allocation.
