The farm sits a few miles inland from the Helford estuary. Helford Passage Beach is 2.4 miles - a narrow tidal foreshore with a foot ferry that operates to Helford village in summer. The creek network around the Helford River has several walking routes through oak woodland that meet the water at small shingle beaches. Ponsence Cove and Porth Saxon Beach are both within 3.4 miles along the coast.

Trebah Garden is around 5 miles north - a sub-tropical garden that runs down a steep ravine to a private beach on the Helford. Falmouth is approximately 20 minutes by car. The Roseland is accessible via the King Harry Ferry, crossing the Fal estuary a few miles north.

Right for families with children who want outdoor space, a games room, and easy day trips to the beach and estuary walks. The games cabin makes the difference compared to a standard rental. Less good for those who want to walk to the sea or need a dog-friendly property.
