The Coach House - Ladock

The Coach House is a four-bedroom house for eight in Ladock, roughly equidistant between Truro and St Austell. Its super-king-size, double and two twin bedrooms are served by two bathrooms - a family bathroom and an en-suite, plus a separate WC.

An open fire and an electric AGA in the kitchen warm the house, and a balcony overlooks gardens and the countryside. A private courtyard garden, fully enclosed by a red brick wall, has a patio and barbecue. A gated driveway has parking for up to four cars. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay. One twin bedroom and a separate WC are on the ground floor, with the other three bedrooms up the stairs. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.

Ladock's parish church, St Ladoca, holds a William Morris east window from an 1864 restoration, and the village sits within easy reach of both coasts - Perranporth's surf beach and the sheltered Roseland beaches are each around a 20-minute drive. Truro, Cornwall's only city, is roughly 6 miles southwest for its cathedral and shops. Porthluney Bay, a family-friendly beach on the Caerhays Estate with the castle as a backdrop, is 7.7 miles away; Carne Beach and Pendower Beach are each 7.9 miles.
