The Lodge At Treworrian Farm

The Lodge at Treworrian Farm is a barn conversion for six near Ladock, with three super king-size zip-and-link beds that can each be arranged as twins when requested at booking. Four bathrooms serve the three bedrooms, so a group of six, or two families sharing, rarely need to queue.

The open-plan barn stands beside private woodland and has a lawned garden. Inside, a wood burner, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are provided. Parking and a barbecue are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

Ladock is a quiet farming parish roughly equidistant between Truro and St Austell, with the parish church of St Ladoca set on a hill above the village - inside is a Victorian east window by William Morris, added during an 1864 restoration. Truro, Cornwall's only city, is about 6 miles to the southwest. Porthluney Bay is 7.2 miles away, a wide family beach on the Caerhays Estate with the castle visible from the sand. Carne Beach is 7.4 miles from the property and Pendower Beach is 7.5 miles away, so a coastal day out from this rural base means a short drive.
