The Forge At Trevadlock Manor

The Forge at Trevadlock Manor is a two-bedroom barn conversion for four near Congdons Shop, an east Cornwall hamlet on the A395 between Launceston and Camelford. A king size room and a twin are supported by two bathrooms, giving each bedroom useful capacity. Host Charlie manages the booking through HolidayCottages.

The main living area is large and open-plan. Outside, there is a garden and a barbecue. Parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine and EV charging are included, and dogs are accepted. There is no Wi-Fi, so guests relying on a constant connection should plan around mobile signal instead.

Polyphant is the nearest named town, and this is a rural rather than coastal base. Crackington Haven Beach, enclosed by dramatic striped sandstone cliffs, is 13.2 miles away. Bossiney Cove, a sandy cove near Tintagel reachable only at low tide, is 13.7 miles away, and Millook Beach, known for its folded cliff strata, is 13.8 miles from the barn. Closer to hand, Altarnun's 15th-century church, known as the Cathedral of the Moor, is about 4 miles south, and the northern edge of Bodmin Moor is within easy reach.
