The Nook At Trebudannon

The Nook At Trebudannon is a one-bedroom converted cottage for two in the hamlet of Trebudannon, about five miles east of Newquay in mid-Cornwall. The super-king-size bedroom and single bathroom suit a couple, and a wood burner gives the living space a focal point. One dog is welcome.

An enclosed courtyard sits a short distance from the cottage, with bistro seating, an egg chair, lighting and a firepit for evenings outdoors. A games room is also available on site, along with country walks straight from the door. Parking, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and EV charging are included, though there is no dishwasher.

Watergate Bay is the nearest named beach at 3.8 miles, followed by Whipsiderry Beach at 4.1 miles and Mawgan Porth at 4.7 miles - all reached by car. St Columb Major, the nearest town, has a 15th-century church and a handful of pubs and shops. Trebudannon itself is quiet farmland, best known locally for its point-to-point horse racing course, which makes for a genuinely rural base rather than a coastal one.
