The Stables

The Stables sits in the grounds of Penmorvah Manor Hotel at Budock Water, near Falmouth. Guests have access to the hotel's lounge, bar and restaurant, and to a 6-acre garden, alongside a shared courtyard patio. The pub is 0.1 miles away and the shop 0.8 miles.

The layout is reverse-level. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. There is also a separate bathroom with a bath and shower over, which makes two bathrooms in all. You climb the stairs to the open-plan living space, which holds the kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, and there is a Freeview TV and WiFi. Gas central heating is provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Off-road parking takes two cars.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Any pet charge is a per-pet, per-night fee paid at reception. Smoking is not allowed. The cottage can be booked alongside four others on the estate, for up to 14 guests. It suits two couples, or a small family with dogs, who want hotel facilities close by; the stairs up to the living area make it less good for anyone who cannot manage them.
