The Stables

The Stables is a barn conversion on a single level at Davidstow, in the countryside near Camelford. It sleeps seven in three bedrooms: a double with an en-suite shower, a second double, and a family room holding a double and a single bed. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area warmed by a woodburning stove. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included, as are bed linen and towels, and there is underfloor heating. A utility room sits alongside a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. A highchair and travel cot can be requested.

Both the front and rear gardens are enclosed, each with lawn, patio and furniture. Parking is off the road with plenty of space, and there is a designated garage space too. Camelford is 5.9 miles away, the nearest shop is 5.1 miles off, the pub 1.5 miles and the nearest beach 7.3 miles.

House rules are firm: no pets, no smoking, no stag or hen parties and no worker bookings. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. The single-storey layout suits friends, families or groups of couples travelling by car; it is less good for anyone who wants a shop within a short walk.
