Trelydarth

Trelydarth is a detached 6-bedroom house at Penhallow in mid-Cornwall, sleeping 12 across 2 bathrooms. The property sits roughly midway between St Agnes and Perranporth, making it one of the larger self-catering options in this stretch of the north coast. Dogs are welcome.

Four of the six bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower over are on the ground floor, and there is a private garden with a BBQ and a large decked patio - useful for a large group in warmer months. Inside there is off-road parking for three cars, wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine. Two bathrooms for 12 guests means some queuing at busy times. Changeover is Friday, with check-in at 4pm and check-out at 11am.

Three beaches sit within 3 miles: Trevellas Cove is 2.7 miles away, Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 2.7 miles, and Perranporth Beach - 3 miles of surf sand - is 2.5 miles. Best for: large family groups or gatherings of friends who want a dog-friendly base within easy reach of several north coast surf beaches. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Less suited to anyone expecting more than 2 bathrooms for 12 people or wanting luxury finishes at this price point.
