The property sits inland from the coast at St Gennys, roughly 1.1 miles from Crackington Haven beach - one of the more dramatic coves on the north Cornwall coast, set between cliffs that reach nearly 400 feet.

The cottage has an open fire and a BBQ for outdoor cooking, plus an enclosed garden where dogs have room to roam. Wifi, parking, and dishwasher are included; note there is no washing machine, which is worth planning for on longer stays. Changeover is Saturday.

Crackington Haven is 1.1 miles away - the beach has folded cliff strata of Carboniferous shale that draw geology students, and powerful surf in bigger swells. The hamlet has the Coombe Barton Inn and a cafe. Millook Beach - a quieter cove - is 3.4 miles along the coast, and Widemouth Bay is 4.9 miles north, where the beach is flatter and more family-friendly.
