20 The Walled Garden

A two-bedroom cottage in the Kernick Park development near Penryn, sleeping four guests with an enclosed walled garden and off-road parking. The property is part of a modern residential setting about a mile from Penryn's medieval town centre.

The ground floor has an open kitchen-diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A separate sitting room has a Smart TV, and there is a utility room and ground-floor cloakroom. Upstairs, the main double bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower with heated towel rail. The second double shares a family bathroom with bath and shower over. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails.

The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio area and outdoor furniture - a sheltered space thanks to the surrounding walls. A local shop and pub are within 0.3 miles. Swanpool Beach, a crescent of sand beside a nature reserve near Falmouth, is 2.5 miles away. Gyllyngvase Beach - Falmouth's main beach with a cafe, showers and summer lifeguards - is 2.6 miles.

Penryn sits at the head of the Penryn River, about a mile from Falmouth. The town has independent cafes, antique shops and a monthly farmers' market. Falmouth University's Penryn Campus is nearby. Trebah and Glendurgan gardens on the Helford River are about 4 miles south. Saturday changeover.
