Porthminster Beach is 300 metres from the door - the south-facing sheltered sand that is the first choice for families with young children in St Ives. St Ives Harbour Beach is 400 metres. Porthmeor, the north-facing surf beach, is 600 metres.

The compact Victorian layout is cosy rather than spacious, and the staircase is steep. Dogs welcome throughout. Best for a family of 4 or a small mixed group who want genuine sea views and a garden without sacrificing a central location. Not ideal for anyone with limited mobility.
