A two-bedroom lodge on a holiday park near Notter, 6.1 miles from the four-mile stretch of Whitsand Bay and 7.5 miles from Kingsand village with its colour-washed cottages. One king-size and one twin bedroom sleep 4, with a private hot tub and access to the on-site outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. An open fire is included for winter stays, EV charging is available, and up to two dogs are welcome. Downderry Beach, quieter and less-frequented than Whitsand, is 6.3 miles away, or it's a 12-mile drive to Looe Beach and a boat trip out to Looe Island to spot grey seals and dolphins. Adrenaline Quarry is 10 miles away for off-beach adventure, or spend a quiet afternoon fishing along the River Lynher.

This one-level lodge has modern decor, light tones and large windows that let the outside in. The open-plan living area has a sofa and open fireplace, with patio doors onto woodland views. The kitchen has all the appliances needed for family meals, served at the dining table or outside at the patio table. The king-size and twin bedrooms have whitewashed walls and wood-panelled flooring, and share a modern bathroom.

Outside, start the day with coffee at the patio table or a soak in the private hot tub. Children can splash in the shared swimming pool (May to September), play in the children’s area, or try a game of tennis. The lodge has private parking for one car, with further parking in a shared car park.

Best for families with dogs who want a one-level lodge within easy reach of the beach and a private hot tub for evenings after the pool. Less good for guests who need wifi, since none is available on site.
