An Skyber

An Skyber is a converted stone farm building at Trebarvah Farm, just outside Perranuthnoe, sleeping six adults in three en-suite bedrooms. The property uses geothermal central heating and has a wood burner in the first-floor living area - a reverse-level layout with bedrooms on the ground floor and living space above.

The ground floor has two bedrooms in the main house: a king-size with dressing room and en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over), and a twin with en-suite shower room. A third bedroom - twin beds, convertible to a king-size on request - occupies a small barn attached to the main building, with its own shower room. Note: the barn has two low beams. Upstairs, the open-plan living room has a vaulted ceiling, kitchen, dining area, wood burner and a Juliet balcony. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Off-road parking serves two cars. The garden mixes patio, lawn, paths and shrubs, with a charcoal barbecue available. Perranuthnoe Beach - a wide stretch of golden sand with views across Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount - is a 10-minute walk (600 metres). Piskies Cove, a rocky cove with rock pools, lies 1.2 miles along the coast.

The Victoria Inn, one of Cornwall's oldest pubs (dating to the 12th century), is a 10-minute walk along a footpath next to the property. Penzance is four miles west for wider supplies.

Best for three couples or a multi-generation family who each want their own en-suite. Less good for taller guests - the barn bedroom has two low beams to duck under.
