Argel

Argel is a single-storey lodge on Clowance Holiday Park, near Praze An Beeble, with rural views and a furnished decking area for meals outdoors. 3 bedrooms, each with a TV, sleep six: a super-king-size room with an en-suite, and two twin rooms.

The en-suite has a walk-in shower, basin and WC; the twin rooms share a family bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower over the bath, a basin and a WC. Living space is open-plan, with a breakfast bar, a dining table and a sitting area that has a decorative fireplace. The kitchen holds an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. There are four TVs and WiFi.

Guests park in the on-site car park. A highchair can be had for an additional fee, and a cot would need its own mattress and linen, as none are supplied. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent, and heating is central. Guests share Clowance's heated indoor swimming pool and the hot tub beside it, and the park also has a gym, tennis courts and the Lakeview Restaurant, with spa treatments at extra cost.

It suits a family or friends who want three bedrooms on one level and a furnished decking area. It is less good for anyone with a dog, as no pets are allowed. Smoking is not permitted, and a refundable bond applies when you book.
