Armando

Armando is a reverse-level 3-bedroom cottage in Devoran, sleeping 6 across 2 bathrooms. The upper floor contains the main living space, with the bedrooms below - an arrangement that gives the sitting room better light and treetop views over the Fal estuary area. The enclosed courtyard at the rear gets afternoon sun.

Dogs are welcome. The garage is large enough to store kayaks and paddleboards, which suits the location: the tidal creeks around Devoran and the Carnon River are a short distance by road, and canoe hire can be found further along the estuary. WiFi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are included.

Castle Beach in Falmouth is 4.5 miles by road, with Gyllyngvase Beach 4.7 miles and Swanpool Beach 4.8 miles. All three are sandy and accessible for families. Falmouth town itself has a good range of independent restaurants and cafes, and the National Maritime Museum is a 10-minute drive. Perranwell is the nearest village.

Devoran village has a pub and seasonal cafe. The Carnon Downs area to the north has more shops and a garden centre. Truro is around 5 miles northwest, with its cathedral and main shopping streets.

Good for groups who want to base themselves near the water without paying coastal-view prices, and who have kayaks or boards to store. Friday changeover.
