A three-bedroom cottage at Tregurrian, under a mile from Watergate Bay's two-mile sweep of sand on Cornwall's north coast. The Extreme Academy on the beach runs surfing, kitesurfing, and waveskiing sessions, and The Beach Hut restaurant serves lunch directly on the sand.

The open-plan ground floor has a sitting area with electric fire, dining space, and a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer. A king-size double has its own TV, while a twin room - convertible to a super-king on request - has an en-suite basin and WC. A bunk room provides the third sleeping option. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over. Smart TV, Blu-ray player, and WiFi are included.

Off-road parking for one car sits outside, and a patio garden with furniture faces the rear. A cot and highchair are available on request. Watergate Bay beach is 900 metres away, with its seasonal bar and cafes. Mawgan Porth - a wide sandy bay with rock pools and reliable surf - is 1.4 miles north along the coast path.

The coast path from Watergate Bay towards Mawgan Porth runs along high cliffs, with Bedruthan Steps visible in the distance. Newquay's town centre is about 3 miles south, and the area has consistent Atlantic swell throughout the year.
