Long Rock Beach is 1.1 miles west towards Penzance. Perranuthnoe, a quieter sand-and-rock beach with a National Trust car park and the Victoria Inn nearby, is 1.7 miles east. Penzance town centre - with the Jubilee Pool lido, restaurants, and rail connections - is 2 miles west along the bay. The boat service to St Michael's Mount departs from Marazion harbour when the causeway is submerged.

Best for couples or solo travellers who want beach access without steps or stairs, and a base that puts west Cornwall within easy reach. Less suitable for groups of three or more.
